We’ll explain how to block a website in Chrome in the rest of this article. To do that, you’ll need either an additional app on your Mac, or a browser extension for Chrome. One thing Chrome’s settings don’t allow you to do, however, is to block specific websites from loading in the browser. According to a recent experiment cited by The Verge, Chrome is 10 times more memory demanding than Safari.
